PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS (From NIC website)
NIC's 24-week Carpentry Foundation Harmonized Certificate is the standard provincial program for entry into the carpentry trade and is well-recognized by the residential and commercial building industries. During the program, you will develop the carpentry skills and knowledge needed for employment in the construction industry.
Carpenters work on projects such as; Hospital, bridges, Residential & Commercial construction, School's, etc.
Past graduates have worked for companies in town such as;
AFC Construction, Bohmer Construction, Nelson Roofing & Sheet Metal, Lacasse Construction, Muchalat Construction, School District #71, Kinnetic, Knappet.
